Oliver Christen shares a profound end-of-life decision that changed his family's story forever.
Oliver spent two decades building businesses across Japan, the UK, and Australia before returning to Switzerland to care for his father. What was meant to be a short sabbatical turned into an extended season as a family caregiver, forcing him to navigate the complexities of aging parents and the heavy weight of responsibility.
This conversation moves beyond his professional achievements to a quiet, pivotal moment over tea. His mother, clear-eyed and resolute, asked for his presence as she chose to end her life. It is an honest look at navigating grief, the unexpected turns of a career transition, and the bravery required to honor a loved one's final wish.

ABOUT OLIVER
Oliver Christen grew up in a small Swiss town. Over two decades he travelled extensively, built businesses across four continents, and immersed himself in meditative practice. He returned to Switzerland to be closer to his parents, and relied on intuition, presence, and careful conversations to support and witness his mother's intentional end of life. Friends encouraged him to write As She Chose, his first book, available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Goodreads. Today he lives near Zürich.
