What if that pivotal moment was just the beginning?

Pitch the Show

The Life Shift is one conversation about one moment.

Every guest has a line in the sand. A before and an after. The episode lives inside that moment: who you were, what happened, and who you became.

What fits

  • One specific, named moment where everything changed
  • An external event, like sudden loss, an accident, a near-death experience, a life-altering medical event, or an unexpected tragedy
  • Your own story, told by the person it happened to
  • A willingness to keep the whole conversation on that story

What doesn't

  • Pitches built around credentials, expertise, or a book
  • Frameworks and methods, even good ones
  • Topic lists, suggested questions, one-pagers, and media kits
  • A gradual journey or a string of realizations
  • For now, internal realizations and career pivots

How to pitch

Tell me about the moment. Two or three sentences is plenty. What happened, what life looked like before, and how it shifted after. If it feels like a fit, I will ask a question or two, then send a short guest form and a scheduling link. There is no pre-call. Our conversation happens for the first time on the recording.

Good to know: I run this show on my own, so replies can be slow and the calendar fills months ahead. A no is almost always about fit with where the show is right now, and never about the worth of your story. If you haven't heard back in a couple of weeks, one nudge is fine.

Curious how pitches have gone over the years? I had Claude look through my guest inboxes and wrote up what I found. Read the case study.
