She skipped therapy and bought plane tickets instead. She said that for the price of one session, she could go somewhere and make a new memory.

I am not here to tell you that is the right approach for everyone. But for Dianette Wells, it worked. And hearing her talk about it made me think about all the different ways we find our way back to ourselves when grief tries to take us under.
