The Day Her Toddler Heard the Same Warning She Did

Kate Saint Clair took her two year old daughter to a park in Colorado. A voice in her ear told her to pick her daughter up and walk toward other people, because a man behind them would follow. She did. He did. And her daughter never took her eyes off him either. That was the moment Kate knew her daughter had the same gift she had spent her life trying to push away.

She found a mentor, and her career as a psychic medium began. But she stayed ashamed of it for years, until a skin cancer diagnosis over her heart stopped her from doing almost everything else. Six months of that forced stillness taught her to finally accept who she was.

Near the end of our conversation, Kate told me about a client who carried fifteen years of guilt over the last thing she ever said to her mother. Connecting with her mother's spirit did not undo the moment. It just finally made the loss feel real, instead of something to keep running from.
