Joomin Hwang is a Broadway performer, founding cast member of The Prom, and the first native Korean to perform at the Tony Awards. He grew up in South Korea, discovered breakdancing in middle school, and spent years training as a dancer, singer, and actor before moving to the United States at thirty to pursue musical theater. He is currently performing in And Juliet on Broadway. He is also the author of a journaling method he developed during a difficult personal period, designed to help people move through hard seasons with curiosity and self-compassion.
