Lauren Yard
Lauren Yard is a happily married mom of two boys (and two dogs). Her path to building her family was not easy — she faced more than two years of infertility and multiple miscarriages, an experience she speaks about openly to help normalize seemingly taboo conversations and remind others they are not alone. She prides herself on finding a way to make things work when all hope seems lost; some call it denial, she calls it persistence. She can often be found in a flower garden, reading young adult novels, or sitting in the sunshine.

Lauren joined me to talk about her journey of building her family. She is happily married with two children under three years old. However, it was not an easy journey for Lauren as she faced over two years of infertility and multiple miscarriages. We talk about the need for support and normalizing discussions about seemingly taboo topics. We also talk about letting go and controlling the things in our power and allowing life to teach us the lessons it has for us.
