David Toback is a voice actor, COO of the GVAA, and creator of the GVAA Rate Guide — a rates and performance coach and one of the voiceover industry's foremost rates experts and advocates. He educates the industry on rates, voice actor value, and mindful business practices through the GVAA, coaching, webinars, podcasts, and conferences such as VOcation, V.O. North, and VO Atlanta. After a horrific accident in 2014 in which he nearly lost his right leg, David chose to pursue his dream of voiceover. Originally a student of the GVAA and mentored by Cristina Milizia, he joined the staff in 2016 and now serves as Chief Operations Officer. Born in Fort Lauderdale, FL, he relocated to Los Angeles in 2020.
